Warm Quilts for Winter from Kat & Cat Quilts

Happy Holidays everyone! It's finally gotten properly cold here and it's so nice to wear hats and hoodies and sweats!

Patricia's quilts are on display today. She sent in a big box with all these treasures recently. This very large quilt with the overlapping boxes is my favorite. I like how they look kind of 3D like pyramids. 

This very cozy quilt with homespun fabrics is my next favorite.   On the closeup you can how there is topstitching along the edges of the blocks. I'm not sure if Patricia did that or if this was actually ...

Applique, Oh My! from Kat & Cat Quilts

Can I just say, I am not an applique-er. It's time consuming and tedious and it's just not my thing. Which is why I am so impressed with these quilts from Patricia B! 

First up is this homey and cozy applique sampler quilt with HST sashing.  

I'm sorry I wan MIA for two weeks of Friday posts.  I was working and I had run out of pre-scheduled posts.

Is it hot where you are? Because it's gotten really hot here. Summer has arrived with a bang. Patricia B. sent in these beauties this week!
